Apple cuts streaming costs with a limited-time discount on Apple TV+. The company now offers its service for just $2.99 monthly for three months. From now until April 24, new and returning subscribers can get Apple TV+ for just $2.99 per month for three months.
The 70% discount targets both first-time and former users. You qualify if you haven’t subscribed to the service within the past month.
This price cut supports Apple’s growing original content slate. The special offer is timed to the launch of new Jon Hamm series Your Friends & Neighbors, premiering this Friday.
Not everyone gets the deal. The offer is only available to people who subscribe directly to TV+, not through their phone carrier or other bundle methods.
What happens after three months?
After the three months is up, the subscription automatically renews at the regular $9.99 per month price. But of course, you can cancel at any point before then to avoid being charged extra.
The streaming service works across multiple device platforms. You can watch TV+ on almost any device, including on Android using the new app available in the Google Play Store.
Apple TV+ continues building its library with critically acclaimed shows. A month after “Severance” aired its second season premiere, it toppled “Ted Lasso” as the most watched Apple TV+ series.
Sports fans get extra value too. Apple TV+ features select Major League Soccer matches from MLS Season Pass and is the home of “Friday Night Baseball,” a weekly Major League Baseball double-header with no local broadcast restrictions.
